About
Hi! I'm Hannah and I have over 12 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, event planning and project management.
After spending a large portion of my career in corporate event management, I started HLG Creative in 2020 when the pandemic altered the economy in a way I never could have predicted. As I stepped away from events and decided to focus on my other professional skills - namely graphic design and digital marketing - HLG Creative was born. Since founding my business, I’ve worked with many clients across vastly different industries.
Previous companies I’ve partnered with include: Amazon Studios, Lisa Eldridge Beauty, StrasGlobal, DBPodcasts and many more.
While I enjoy working with both large and small companies, I especially love helping small business owners launch / improve upon their passion projects.
Prior to starting HLG Creative, I served as the Director of Events for the Real Estate Council of Austin for six years, where I planned small and large scale events - everything from sponsored happy hours and conferences to an annual gala with a two million dollar budget and 1,800+ attendees. I also handled all creative design efforts and social media strategy for the events I planned and managed. Additionally, I spearheaded a wide range of traditional and digital marketing efforts for Stream Realty Partners.
In 2023, I started as the Literary Director at the Texas Book Festival, where I manage all literary programming for the non-profit organization’s annual book festival and other year-round events. The annual fall book festival is one of the largest literary events in the country as it welcomes 250 - 300 authors and 40,000+ attendees each year.
When I'm not working, you can find me reading in various locations, checking out the latest Austin hotspots or at the airport en route to an international adventure.
